Senior Software Engineer – Java Full Stack - Generative AI

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in Full Stack Enterprise Application Development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, Microservices Architecture, Cloud-Native Development, and Generative AI solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables within technology domain environments.
• Contribute to large-scale technical planning, architecture discussions, and strategic initiatives.
• Design, develop, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges by evaluating technologies, processes, and procedures.
• Act as a technical escalation point and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business teams, and engineering teams to achieve project goals.

Application Development

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP services, Angular, and Microservices Architecture.
• Modernize legacy applications and drive monolith-to-microservices transformation initiatives.
• Develop scalable, secure, resilient, and cloud-ready applications following 12-Factor App principles.
• Build event-driven applications leveraging Kafka and distributed messaging systems.

Generative AI & Emerging Technologies

• Design and develop Generative AI and Agentic AI-based solutions.
• Work with LLMs, NLP models, AI orchestration frameworks, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications to enhance business processes and user experience.

Cloud, DevOps & Automation

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and DevOps best practices.
• Support infrastructure scalability, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.

Database & Performance Engineering

• Design and optimize solutions using SQL Server, MongoDB, and relational databases.
• Support database performance tuning, archival strategies, and scalability improvements.
• Ensure high availability, data integrity, and application performance.

Governance & Delivery Support

• Support UAT, production deployments, and rollout activities.
• Create and maintain technical design documents and solution artifacts.
• Conduct code reviews and application demonstrations for stakeholders.
• Support implementation of risk governance methodologies and compliance requirements.
• Identify process improvements and implement automation and efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong experience in Full Stack Enterprise Application Design and Development.
• Hands-on experience with Java-based application development and modern software engineering practices.
