Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and product managers to define and implement high-quality features.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end and third-party systems.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices and code reviews.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the application.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and development issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
- 56 years of strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and JSON/XML.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
Good to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
