Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience building scalable, cloud-based applications. This role requires hands-on expertise across backend Java development, modern frontend frameworks (React), and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end-to-end and collaborating closely with product, architecture, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices using modern Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
- Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Deploy and operate applications in the cloud, preferably on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL), or AWS equivalents
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud best practices
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across the full stack
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in Java backend development
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices
- Solid understanding of cloud-native development and deployment concepts
- Experience with GCP or AWS services for application hosting, databases, and messaging
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile development practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS services
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and best practices
- Experience with GraphQL, event-driven architectures, or messaging systems
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.)
