About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and dependable IT Support team member to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless daily operations for our team. Your primary focus will be to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures that safeguard our systems. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and IT support functions. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience can also be considered. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work independently are essential. Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role is advantageous, although candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field will also be considered. Familiarity with security protocols, user management, and basic network troubleshooting will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this role include managing and administering Microsoft 365 accounts, which involves creating user profiles, managing licenses, and setting access permissions to ensure secure and efficient operations. Providing first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues is a key aspect of the role, requiring quick identification and resolution of problems to minimize downtime.

You will assist with the setup and ongoing maintenance of essential communication tools such as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, ensuring they function optimally for all users. Implementing and supporting data security practices is critical, including resetting passwords, configuring multi-factor authentication (MFA), and monitoring system activity to prevent unauthorized access. Supporting software installations, updates, and system configurations will be part of your daily tasks to keep our systems current and secure.

Maintaining detailed documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides is vital to ensure knowledge sharing and efficient issue resolution. You will also be expected to collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new solutions and improve existing systems, fostering a proactive approach to IT management.
