About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated IT Infra Specialist to join our dynamic team at Stolt-Nielsen Limited. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical support within our organization, ensuring the seamless operation of laptops, network hardware, and local IT infrastructure. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing and troubleshooting a variety of systems and devices, including Windows and macOS platforms, network switches, access points, and peripheral devices. Your expertise will directly impact the productivity and security of our employees, enabling them to perform their duties efficiently and securely.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong customer service orientation. You will collaborate with global IT teams and external vendors to maintain the integrity and security of our IT environment, supporting ongoing projects such as hardware upgrades, network improvements, and software deployments. Qualifications
The successful candidate should have proven hands-on experience in IT support or infrastructure management within a corporate or enterprise setting. A strong understanding of Windows 11 and macOS administration and troubleshooting is essential. Familiarity with network fundamentals, including VLANs, IP configuration, DHCP/DNS, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting, is required. Candidates should possess working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, and endpoint management tools. Experience supporting mobile devices and familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Freshservice, aligned with ITIL workflows, is highly desirable.
Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate and ITILv4 Foundation are preferred. Additionally, experience with Apple Device Management (Apple Business Manager), patch management solutions like Microsoft WSUS, Patch My PC, or SolarWinds, and MDM tools will be considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills, with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail. Support experience for over 100 users is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive end-user support for hardware and software issues on Windows laptops, MacBooks, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and security policies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and devices through Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and endpoint management platforms such as Intune.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices including switches, access points, printers, and conference room equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on local IT infrastructure, including patching, updates, and hardware replacements.
- Monitor network and infrastructure incidents, escalating issues to global IT teams or third-party vendors as necessary.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, preparing devices, accounts, and access permissions in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, incidents, and resolutions within the IT service management system.
- Support local IT projects such as hardware refreshes, Wi-Fi upgrades, and software rollouts to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT assets by applying company policies and ensuring device compliance with security standards.
