Key Responsibilities
Sales Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ICT domain.
- Manage the full sales cyclefrom prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
Customer Engagement
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
- Conduct needs assessments and map customer challenges to appropriate technologies.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and postsales followup.
Collaboration Coordination
- Work closely with presales, technical teams, and delivery teams to design optimal solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and distributors for pricing, product updates, and deal support.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records.
Market Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on ICT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Develop a strong understanding of products and solutions such as:
- Networking
- Cybersecurity
- Cloud services
- Data centre solutions
- IT infrastructure
- Software and managed services
Required Skills Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 310 years of experience in IT/ICT sales (depending on seniority level).
- Strong understanding of technology solutions and system integration.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
Preferred Competencies
- Experience selling to enterprise or government clients.
- Knowledge of ICT procurement processes.
- Vendor certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet, VMware, etc.) are an advantage.
- Strong network within the ICT industry.
