Job Description

Job Title: IT Regional Sales DirectorAbout the Role

We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and results-driven IT Regional Sales Director to lead business growth and sales operations in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in System Integration, enterprise sales, and team leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue and managing key customer relationships.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can define strategy, drive execution, and build a high-performing sales organization while ensuring sustainable business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Own the strategic planning and business development for the assigned region.
  • Define and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across key accounts and territories.
  • Ensure achievement of business targets in line with defined budgets and forecasts.

Sales Excellence

  • Deliver on committed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Engage with senior customer stakeholders (CXO level) to build strong relationships and drive closures.
  • Actively participate in reviewing and closing high-value sales opportunities.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts (customer-wise, business unit-wise, monthly).
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the sales team to track pipeline and progress.
  • Prioritize opportunities and ensure effective execution of sales plans.
  • Collaborate with presales, delivery, partner teams, and domain experts to generate new business and expand existing accounts.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team within the assigned region.
  • Develop team capabilities for consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Foster a strong performance culture focused on:

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development support to team members.
  • Manage day-to-day sales operations including:
    • Sales targets
    • Compensation planning
    • Cross-functional collaboration
Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Work closely with internal leadership, cross-functional teams, and partners.
  • Leverage relationships with key OEMs and partners to drive joint business growth.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through partnerships and alliances.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in IT services/System Integration.
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep knowledge of System Integration and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Strong relationships with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working with OEMs/partners such as:
    • Cisco
    • HP
    • Dell
    • Microsoft
    • Avaya
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science)
    • Business Administration
    • Or related field
  • MBA preferred
