About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Recruiter/Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Fusion IT. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing multiple client accounts and building a high-volume pipeline of IT requirements. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and implementation partners while proactively sourcing top IT talent to fulfill client demands. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the US IT staffing landscape, vendor management systems, and a proven track record of successful requirement fulfillment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and possess a passion for delivering outstanding service to clients and candidates alike.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 to 6+ years of comprehensive experience in US IT recruitment, with at least 2 years in a dual role involving recruiter and account management or vendor relations. Candidates should demonstrate a successful history of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously and working directly with major implementation partners or system integrators. A thorough understanding of US hiring practices, visa categories (such as H1B, CPT, OPT, Green Card, US Citizen), and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) is essential. Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms, VMS portals, popular job boards like Dice, Monster, and CareerBuilder, as well as professional networks such as LinkedIn Recruiter, is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives and vendor managers, are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Client & Implementation Partner Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for multiple client accounts, gaining an in-depth understanding of their technical environments, hiring processes, and submission SLAs.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with tier-1 implementation partners and prime vendors, leveraging these connections to secure high-quality requirements consistently.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for assigned accounts, ensuring high submittal-to-interview and interview-to-hire ratios to meet or exceed client expectations.

High-Volume Requirement & Database Generation

  • Proactively hunt, aggregate, and generate a steady stream of active IT requirements from various channels, including VMS portals, direct client requests, implementation partners, and networking efforts.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive, categorized database of active job requirements and key vendor contacts to ensure the delivery team always has high-priority positions to focus on.
  • Monitor industry trends, shifting technical demands, and active hiring managers to keep the firm ahead of competitors and adapt strategies accordingly.

Recruitment & Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the delivery and sourcing teams to align candidate pipelines (W2, Corp-to-Corp, 1099) with current requirements, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Evaluate candidate profiles against client-specific matrices, maintaining high standards for quality and relevance.
  • Manage candidate expectations, facilitate salary and rate negotiations, and coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition from offer to employment.
