Job Title: Operations Manager – Telecom Migration Project

Location: Hyderbad

Experience: 10–15 Years

Industry: Telecom / Data Migration / IT Services

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations for a large-scale Telecom/Data Migration program. The role involves managing 24×7 support operations, ensuring SLA adherence, driving governance, and enabling seamless migration execution through strong coordination and operational excellence.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Delivery Management

Own and manage end-to-end operations for telecom/data migration programs

Ensure SLA compliance and sign-offs with consistent service delivery

Establish and drive a robust operations framework for 24×7 support

Monitor and improve operational KPIs, efficiency, and service quality

Governance & Reporting

Define and execute governance models, including stakeholder communication cadence

Provide daily/weekly/monthly reporting on project health, risks, and performance

Drive process alignment and compliance across teams

Team & Capability Management

Manage team capacity planning, resource allocation, and utilization

Oversee shift roster planning for 24×7 operations

Lead people management, including performance, engagement, and retention

Identify knowledge gaps and drive structured training plans

Migration & Coordination

Drive conversion/migration coordination across cross-functional teams

Ensure seamless execution of migration activities with minimal business disruption

Collaborate with engineering, QA, and business teams for issue resolution

Access & Knowledge Management

Govern access management ensuring compliance and security standards

Ensure proper documentation and knowledge management practices

Conduct retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience in Telecom or Data Migration projects

Proven expertise in Operations Management & Support (24×7 environments)

Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture

Hands-on experience in Governance, SLA management, and Reporting

ITIL Certified (mandatory or preferred)

Experience in process alignment, operational frameworks, and service delivery models

Strong exposure to capacity planning, shift management, and training programs

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong people management and leadership capabilities

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Additional Requirements:

Proven experience in production support environments

Willingness to work in 24×7 shift-based model

Experience managing large, cross-functional teams
