Role Overview

As a System Engineer on the IT Operations team, you'll play a vital role in supporting Alter Domus infrastructure during U.S. business hours. You'll provide direct technical expertise, assist in infrastructure-related projects, and ensure high performance and stability across a wide range of platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to infrastructure-related incidents and requests during U.S. time zone hours
Provide hands-on technical support to IT teams on specific projects and requests
Contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects—balancing scope, cost, time, and quality
Collaborate with team members across IT Operations to troubleshoot and deploy infrastructure services
Monitor and measure availability and performance of critical systems and platforms
Enforce operational procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment

Technical Competencies

Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Server/Client OS, Active Directory, SQL
Experience with virtualization tools such as VMware
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 cloud solutions
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and standard protocols
Working knowledge of Citrix platforms (CVAD and/or DaaS, Gateway)
Experience with Managed Services, Cloud environments, and monitoring/reporting platforms
Familiarity with ITIL framework, ticketing systems, and change management workflows

Your Profile

10+ years of experience in systems engineering; former System Engineer experience is a strong plus
Advanced experience with Citrix solutions and components
PowerShell expert with proven scripting capabilities
Skilled in coordinating with multiple third-party vendors and service providers
Proven ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-focused mindset
Fluent in English (written and spoken), with excellent communication across all organizational levels
Comfortable working in multi-time-zone environments and handling global stakeholders
Demonstrated success in navigating complex client demands, building consensus, and delivering results
