Job Title / Role: AWS Cloud Architect
Key Skills: AWS Outpost, Cloud Migration

We at Coforge are seeking AWS Cloud Architects with the following skill set:
- 10-12 years of experience in infrastructure and cloud migrations
- Proven experience delivering on‑prem VMware to AWS (hybrid or Outposts) migrations
- Hands‑on involvement in migration execution, cutover, and handover
- Experience producing runbooks, migration documentation, and handover artefacts
- Strong hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
- Practical experience with AWS core services: EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch
- Working knowledge of AWS Outposts workload deployment and limitations
- Experience using VM migration tools (AWS Application Migration Service or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of hybrid networking (routing, DNS, firewall rules)
- VMware assessment, dependency mapping, and migration wave planning
- Executing rehost (lift‑and‑shift) migrations with minimal downtime
- Cutover and rollback planning for production workloads
- Operating within fixed‑capacity environments (Outposts)
