Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day on-site IT support for end users: troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP phones, and peripherals to restore service quickly.
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure: switch configuration, VLAN troubleshooting, wireless LAN support, and basic router/firewall changes under guidance.
- Manage user accounts and access: onboard/offboard users, maintain Active Directory objects, Microsoft 365 accounts, and group-policy enforcement.
- Implement patching, endpoint protection and backup routines: ensure anti-malware, OS updates, and scheduled backups are executed and validated.
- Operate the IT ticketing system: triage incidents, escalate to 2nd/3rd-line or vendors, document resolutions and maintain knowledge-base articles.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and vendor relationships: track hardware lifecycle, manage procurement, warranty claims, and coordinate on-site vendor visits.
