Trinamix is seeking an IT Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for our internal users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring computer systems, and ensuring the overall functionality of IT operations within the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to end-users for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with the setup of new employees and the onboarding process by configuring their workstations.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Document and track support requests using a ticketing system to ensure timely resolution and improved response times.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance the overall IT infrastructure and user experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and software updates to provide informed support.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Remote desktop support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop)
- Antivirus and security software
- Microsoft Active Directory for user management
