IT Asset Management
Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)
Mode: 5 Days work from office
Job Description
- Replacement Maintain and update the IT Asset Management database (CMDB) for hardware, software, and peripheral assets.
- Support asset tracking and reconciliation activities across multiple locations.
- Coordinate with procurement for asset requisitions, disposals, and vendor-related documentation.
- Assist with hardware/software onboarding, tagging, deployment, and recovery Investigate and resolve asset-related incidents or discrepancies
- Conduct periodic audits of asset inventory to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Work with finance and operations teams for cost tracking, depreciation, and budgeting Help configure and operate ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Lansweeper)
- Escalate issues to L3 ITAM or Infrastructure Teams as needed
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to asset ownership, movement, and life cycle
- Ensure software license compliance and renewal tracking
- Proficiency in ITAM platforms and CMDB tools
- Solid understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycles
- Awareness of ITIL practices, particularly around Asset and Configuration Management
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor coordination Basic troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Meticulous attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams with strong communication skills
