IT Application Analyst

• Title / Designation:IT Application Analyst
• Location:Gurgaon
• Experience: 5 to 10 years

Role & responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for FIS applications and related business processes, ensuring stable system performance.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, defects, processing exceptions, and interface failures through root cause analysis.
• Monitor application performance, transaction flows, and system interfaces to proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate data discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and failed transactions to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
• Support system integrations including APIs, file-based interfaces, and middleware, and validate data mappings and transformation logic.
• Assist in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production validation for fixes and enhancements.
• Manage incident triage, defect tracking, release readiness, and maintain documentation while promoting automation and operational improvements.

Candidate requirements:

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in technical analysis, systems analysis, or application/production support.
• Experience handling production incidents, data flows, and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of APIs, file interfaces, middleware, and data reconciliation.
• Experience with testing, defect management, releases, and SDLC/incident management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to work with business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting FIS platforms (Treasury & Risk Manager, SWIFT Services, GetPaid) or similar financial systems.
• Experience with Accounts Payable systems, preferably BravoTran, and CargoWise ERP.
• Background in financial services, banking, fintech, or transaction-processing environments.
• Knowledge of banking file formats such as BAI, MT940, or CAMT.052.
• Familiarity with monitoring/service management tools and Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
