Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an IPDRG Medical Coder located in Chennai. The Medical Coder will be responsible for coding inpatient records using the DRG system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Daily tasks include reviewing medical records for accurate coding, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and standards, collaborating with healthcare professionals for accurate documentation, and participating in coding audits and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of Experience in Medical Coding.
• Active coding Certification.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Experience in inpatient coding, specifically with DRG systems, is preferred
