We are seeking an IPDRG Coder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding diagnoses and procedures in accordance with IPDRG standards, ensuring compliance and maintaining high-quality coding practices.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze clinical documentation to accurately code diagnoses and procedures according to IPDRG guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and improve coding accuracy.
- Maintain knowledge of current coding practices and updates to IPDRG classifications.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field.
- Certification in Medical Coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong understanding of IPDRG coding guidelines and healthcare reimbursement processes.
- Proficient in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
