Description

We are seeking an experienced IPDRG Coder to join our team in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding, particularly in the IPDRG system, and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of coding practices to enhance patient care and support healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse clinical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation.
• Maintain coding productivity standards and meet deadlines for coding tasks.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with coding practices and updates.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in IPDRG coding.
• Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Certification in medical coding (such as CPC, CCS, or RHIT) is preferred.
