This is a full-time IPDRG Coder role based on-site in Chennai. The IPDRG Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis and procedure codes. The role also involves ensuring compliance with official coding guidelines, resolving coding-related issues, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members and staying updated on current coding standards and healthcare regulations.

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM coding and understanding of medical terminologies
• Strong knowledge of disease coding guidelines, procedural coding systems, and healthcare rules
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry and an ability to critically analyze medical records
• Familiarity with software used in medical coding and healthcare documentation
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) and prior experience in IPDRG coding is highly desirable
