Investor Relations Manager

Role Overview

The Investor Relations Manager will act as the key interface between the company and the investor community, including institutional investors, analysts, shareholders, and financial stakeholders. The role requires strong financial understanding, excellent communication skills, and expertise in SEBI regulations and listed company disclosures.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing investor communications, earnings discussions, regulatory disclosures, and market intelligence activities while effectively representing the company's investment story.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage investor relations activities including earnings calls, AGMs, analyst meetings, and investor roadshows
• Act as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, FIIs/FPIs, analysts, and shareholders
• Prepare investor presentations, earnings scripts, management commentary, and Q&A briefs
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and research analysts
• Support leadership during investor interactions and strategic communication initiatives

Financial Reporting & Disclosures

• Ensure timely financial disclosures and compliance filings with BSE/NSE and SEBI regulations
• Coordinate preparation of annual reports, investor presentations, press releases, and fact sheets
• Analyze analyst reports and maintain investor/analyst coverage trackers
• Manage and update the Investor Relations section of the company website

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SEBI LODR regulations and corporate governance requirements
• Coordinate disclosure activities related to insider trading regulations and stock exchange compliance
• Liaise with legal teams, company secretary, RTA, NSDL/CDSL, and other regulatory stakeholders
• Monitor and communicate price-sensitive information within regulatory timelines

Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis

• Track defence sector trends, peer performance, valuation metrics, and investor sentiment
• Monitor developments related to defence policies, government spending, and industry regulations
• Prepare investor targeting reports and shareholding pattern analysis
• Develop insights on market positioning and industry benchmarking

Internal Coordination & Corporate Storytelling

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and business teams to build compelling investment narratives
• Develop communication around new contracts, growth initiatives, exports, and strategic partnerships
• Prepare leadership briefing notes and talking points for investor interactions
• Support crisis communication and confidential information handling processes

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA from a reputed institution

Experience & Skills

• 8–14 years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or related domains
• Strong understanding of SEBI LODR regulations and listed entity compliance
• Expertise in financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling, and investor communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior exposure to defence, aerospace, engineering, capital goods, or infrastructure sectors preferred
• Strong understanding of capital markets and institutional investor engagement
