The Opportunity
This residency is designed for high-performing investment banking professionals in India who want meaningful, early exposure to shaping how AI is applied across corporate finance and M&A workflows. You'll contribute directly to a research initiative with a leading foundational AI lab, helping enhance AI capabilities in corporate finance modelling.
What We're Looking For
- 3–4+ years of IB or Corporate Finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory).
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills in Excel.
- Thorough understanding of financial statements, valuation, and financial modelling.
- Skilled at extracting and interpreting data from filings, earnings materials, and investor presentations.
- High attention to detail, with excellent summarisation and written communication skills.
- Able to produce structured analytical outputs with clear explanations of methodology.
Project Info
- Design and build financial analysis scenarios tailored to your area of expertise.
- Create annotated financial models that demonstrate analytical logic.
- Structure data extraction and analysis tasks from public company materials.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and professional quality.
- Minimum 30+ hours per week.
- Remote, asynchronous contract.
- Contribute to a research initiative with a leading foundational AI lab; help enhance AI capabilities in corporate finance modelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review challenging finance scenarios and prompts to advance AI reasoning.
