About the role:

As an Investment Analyst, you will work closely within the investment team to research opportunities, construct portfolios, monitor investments, and support investment recommendations for HNI and family office clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys financial markets, analysing investment opportunities, and turning data into actionable insights.

What You'll Do

• Conduct portfolio reviews for existing and prospective clients.
• Support portfolio construction across mutual funds, fixed income, equities, and alternative investments.
• Analyse investment products, fund performance, and market opportunities.
• Prepare client investment proposals, portfolio reviews, and presentation materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support portfolio rebalancing decisions.
• Track market, economic, and regulatory developments.
• Build and maintain financial models, investment trackers, and research databases.
• Support the investment team in developing investment strategies and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal investment policies and regulatory requirements.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 Days

• Understand Klay's investment philosophy, products, and portfolio construction process.
• Become familiar with existing client portfolios and reporting standards.
• Independently prepare portfolio analysis and research summaries.

First 60 Days

• Take ownership of assigned activities.
• Contribute investment insights to portfolio review discussions.
• Prepare client-ready investment presentations and recommendations.

First 90 Days

• Independently conduct portfolio reviews and investment analysis.
• Deliver investment recommendations supported by research and data.
• Become a trusted contributor to investment discussions and client portfolio reviews.

What We're Looking For

• 2–6 years of experience in investment research, wealth management, asset management, portfolio analytics, equity research, or investment advisory.
• Strong understanding of mutual funds, fixed income, and capital markets.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and investment products.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and analytical rigour

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience using Morningstar, Bloomberg, or similar research tools.
