Job Summary:
Chandigarh University is looking for a results-driven International Admissions Officer with a strong focus on student recruitment and conversion. The role requires actively sourcing, engaging, and converting international leads into confirmed admissions. The ideal candidate will have experience in education or immigration sectors and a proven ability to meet admission targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive international student recruitment by generating, and converting leads into admissions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international agents, consultants, and partners
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions, webinars, and seminars to promote university programs
- Guide prospective students through the entire admission process, from inquiry to enrollment
- Follow up aggressively on leads to maximize conversion rates
- Identify new markets and develop strategies to increase international student intake
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute targeted recruitment campaigns
- Maintain accurate data on leads, conversions, and pipeline in CRM systems
- Stay updated on competitor universities, global education trends, and visa/immigration policies
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline
- 2–6 years of experience in international student recruitment, admissions, education counseling, or immigration services
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding admission/revenue targets
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and convincing skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven, high-performance environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Immigration or handling international markets (Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle East, etc.)
- Strong network of agents or education consultants
- Knowledge of visa processes and documentation
