Job Description
The Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) Specialist will be part of WSP's Ethics & Compliance team, based in WSP India. The role supportsEthics & Compliance functions across regions by evaluating new business opportunities and existing engagements for potential organizational conflicts of interest, ensuring compliance with internal policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal searches of WSP client, proposal, and project databases to identify existing or potential relationships.
- Perform external research using publicly available sources to gather information on projects, counterparties, and project locations.
- Analyze findings and prepare preliminary assessments of potential organizational conflicts of interest.
- Support Global Ethics Officers and Analysts with Due Diligence, Gifts, Entertainment & Hospitality (GEH), and Project Integrity reviews.
- Participate in compliance reviews, audits, and assurance activities, where required.
- Identify and engage appropriate project teams and senior stakeholders to research relevant WSP work history.
- Collaborate with internal teams across regions to gather information and communicate identified risk issues.
- Clearly document research methodology, findings, and conclusions using standard formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in conflict analysis within a professional services environment preferred.
- Strong written communication skills in English, with experience preparing clear, structured reports.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
- Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity.
- High level of comfort working with databases and data management systems.
- Proven experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.

- Ability to continuously improve research, documentation, and reporting processes and adapt to new systems and tools.
BGV:
- Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (BGV) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
