Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, budget, and timeline
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3ds Max
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors
- Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets
- Oversee site work to ensure design execution aligns with plans
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Strong creativity and design sense
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Knowledge of space planning, color theory, and materials
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Project management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
