Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer located in Mumbai at The Defa, who will be responsible for designing lighting for residential & commercial projects.

Develop creative and functional concept designs based on project requirements

Create mood boards to visually communicate design concepts and vision

Prepare detailed working drawingsincluding lighting and furniture layoutsusing AutoCAD and other design tools

Generate comprehensive BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on lighting layouts

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of projects

Conduct site visits and collaborate with the project management team during the installation phase to ensure design intent is maintained

Qualifications

• Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skills
• Interior Design and FF&E expertise
• Experience in high-end residential and commercial projects
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, V-ray and other design software
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
