Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing residential interior projects from initial client briefing through final installation. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts and mood boards, preparing layout plans, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves selecting materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories, as well as overseeing site work to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Interior Designer will manage project timelines, maintain documentation, and support budget adherence while ensuring a consistent client experience aligned with Tesor Designs brand. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic spaces.
• Proficiency in Space Planning for residential interiors, including circulation, zoning, and furniture layouts.
• Ability to develop accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and coordination with project partners.
• Experience managing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), including selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
• Strong visual sensibility, attention to detail, and familiarity with materials, finishes, and current design trends.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
• Prior experience in residential interior projects in an on-site capacity in Bengaluru or similar urban context is an advantage.
