Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer based in Chennai, offering a balance of on-site collaboration with flexibility for remote work. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating functional and visually appealing spaces through meticulous space planning and detailed interior design. Responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, developing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specifications, and collaborating with architects and other design professionals. Additionally, the role involves ensuring designs meet client requirements and maintain the high standards that SpaceNestX is known for.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design practices
- Experience with Architecture and developing Construction Drawings
- Expertise in FF&E selection and coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to translate client needs into compelling design solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid setting
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sustainable and minimalist design approaches is an asset
