Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Thane. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating design concepts, developing detailed construction drawings, planning and optimizing space layouts, selecting furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and coordinating with architects and contractors during project execution. The role includes working collaboratively with clients to balance functionality, aesthetics, and budget requirements, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design techniques to create functional and visually appealing interior layouts.
- Strong understanding of Architecture and ability to collaborate with architects to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Expertise in creating detailed Construction Drawings and working with design documentation software.
- Experience in selecting and specifying Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) for high-quality, personalized interiors.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to oversee design projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills to translate ideas into actionable designs.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in luxurious residential or commercial design projects will be a plus.
