We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Interior Designer to conceptualize, develop, and execute innovative design solutions for a diverse range of interior spaces. This role involves a comprehensive approach to design, from initial client consultation and concept development to the final project execution, ensuring each space is both aesthetically compelling and functionally efficient.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and Concept Development: Spearhead the design and execution of impactful commercial projects, including corporate offices, retail environments, and hospitality venues. This involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, business needs, and brand identity, translating these requirements into cohesive and inspiring design concepts that align with project goals and budget.
- Technical and Artistic Production: Produce detailed and accurate sketches, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to effectively illustrate design concepts and finished project layouts. This work requires a high level of proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) programs, such as AutoCAD or SketchUp, as well as strong traditional hand-drawing skills to convey preliminary ideas.
- Project Management and Coordination: Take ownership of the design process from start to finish, including selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and finishes (FF&E). This role also involves coordinating with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure designs are implemented correctly, on time, and to the highest standards, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations.
Required Candidate Profile
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design capabilities and technical proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively pitch ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, color theory, space planning, and materials.
