Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer Intern will support the design team with day-to-day project activities, including developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning. Responsibilities include producing basic construction drawings, helping select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating material samples and finishes. The intern will participate in site visits, measurements, and documentation, and assist in preparing presentations for clients. This is an on-site internship role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular collaboration with architects, designers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to contribute to design concepts and spatial solutions.
• Skills in Space Planning and FF&E selection, including furniture layouts, finishes, and material coordination.
• Ability to assist with Construction Drawings and basic technical documentation using relevant design software.
• Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic Adobe Creative Suite skills.
• Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and ability to translate ideas into clear visual and written outputs.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with design teams, clients, and vendors.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and participate in site visits, measurements, and project coordination.
