Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional, aesthetically aligned design concepts. Daily responsibilities include developing space plans, preparing detailed interior layouts, coordinating with architects and contractors, and producing construction drawings. The role involves selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), specifying materials and finishes, and ensuring designs are executed accurately on site. The Interior Designer will also participate in project meetings, manage design documentation, and support timely phase-wise execution in line with company standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform effective Space Planning and develop comprehensive Interior Design solutions.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination with architectural teams.
- Proficiency in creating detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on site in Ahmedabad, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and manage timelines.
- Knowledge of current design trends, building materials, and industry standards.
