Senior Interior Designer for Ahmedabad

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, design development, and coordination with architecture and construction teams. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and review construction drawings, select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensure design quality, functionality, and compliance with project requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clients and stakeholders, overseeing junior designers, managing project timelines, and ensuring that design solutions meet aesthetic, technical, and budgetary expectations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with experience leading end-to-end design projects.
• Strong understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings for effective coordination with project teams.
• Hands-on experience in FF&E selection, specification, and procurement aligned with design concepts and budgets.
• Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Ability to lead and mentor design teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong visualization skills and proficiency in design tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Effective communication and client presentation skills.
• Prior experience as a Senior Interior Designer or similar role, preferably in commercial or residential projects.
