Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in New Delhi. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, mood boards, and layouts for residential and commercial projects, aligning with client needs and the FND brand. Daily tasks include space planning, preparing drawings and presentations, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and the in-house furniture team. The role involves visiting project sites to review progress, ensure design intent is followed, and address on-site challenges. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, support budgeting and timelines, and help deliver high-quality, turnkey design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and detailing.
  • Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts, circulation, and functionality for different types of spaces.
  • Knowledge of Architecture and coordination with structural and MEP services for integrated design solutions.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
  • Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic MS Office skills.
  • Strong visual communication skills, including presentation boards, sketches, and clear documentation.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and coordination abilities, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
