Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer - Intern role based in Gurgaon. The intern will support the design team in developing interior concepts, assisting with space planning, and preparing mood boards, presentations, and basic drawings. Daily tasks include collaborating on layouts, selecting finishes and FF&E options, and helping translate functional requirements into practical and aesthetically aligned interior solutions. The intern will assist in preparing construction drawings under guidance, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining project documentation and material libraries. The role offers hands-on exposure to live projects, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to understand how interior design integrates with furniture hardware solutions.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to interpret client needs into functional layouts.
- Basic understanding of Architecture principles and how they relate to interior environments.
- Ability to assist in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation under supervision.
- Familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, finishes, and material coordination.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to take feedback constructively and adapt quickly.
