Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in Bengaluru South, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and contractors to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing concepts and mood boards, developing detailed space plans, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E that align with project requirements and sustainable design principles. The role involves producing and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with vendors and site teams, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all phases of project execution. The Interior Designer will also support project documentation, timelines, and quality standards while contributing to the studio's creative direction and design consistency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills for developing, reading, and coordinating detailed plans and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills for specifying furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and materials that support both functionality and design aesthetics.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with sustainable design practices.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients; prior work in high-quality residential or commercial interiors is an advantage.
