Role Description

Hiring for a Sr. Insurance Underwriter, based in Hyderabad. The Insurance Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, assessing risks, and analyzing financial data to determine coverage terms. The role also includes reviewing policy renewals, collaborating with brokers or clients, and ensuring all decisions align with industry regulations and company policies. The candidate will work closely with the finance and compliance teams to maintain consistency and accuracy in underwriting practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial information, assess risk, and make data-driven decisions
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Insurance and Underwriting processes
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients, brokers, and internal teams
• Background in Finance or related fields to effectively manage policy pricing, evaluations, and assessments
• Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a regulated industry
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in using insurance and risk assessment tools is an advantage
