Job Description: Inside Sales Specialist

Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

About The Role

Masai is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist to help prospective learners make informed career decisions. In this role, you will engage with leads, understand their learning goals, recommend suitable programs, and guide them through the enrollment journey. Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with prospective learners and parents through phone calls, video meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Understand learners career aspirations and recommend the most suitable programs based on their goals.
  • Explain program features, curriculum, fee structure, financing options, and placement support.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle—from lead qualification and nurturing to successful enrollment.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects through timely follow-ups and personalized guidance.
  • Handle customer queries and objections using a consultative sales approach.
  • Maintain accurate lead updates and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with admissions, academic, and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an added advantage).
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in Inside Sales, Admissions, Academic Counselling, EdTech Sales, or any customer-facing sales role.
  • Fresh graduates with exceptional communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
