About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Inside Sales Specialist to support our regional business operations. In this role, you will play a key part in qualifying leads, nurturing early-stage opportunities, and ensuring a strong and healthy sales pipeline. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to convert prospects into sales-ready opportunities and contribute to overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify all incoming leads and assign them to the appropriate Account Managers based on defined processes.
- Manage and nurture early-stage opportunities through calls, emails, and follow-ups until they are sales-ready.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Service teams to ensure effective lead qualification and progression.
- Identify valid sales opportunities and follow structured qualification processes within defined timelines.
- Monitor and manage MQLs and opportunity pipelines in Salesforce to maintain accurate forecasting.
- Proactively generate new opportunities through campaigns such as re-engaging dormant leads, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in Salesforce, including detailed notes to support opportunity progression.
- Develop a strong understanding of products and industry applications to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying and nurturing new prospects.
- Support the broader APAC Inside Sales team as required and ensure performance against defined KPIs and metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in inside sales or field sales roles.
- Bachelor's degree in science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science) or related field.
- Experience in materials science or materials characterization is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi.
