Job Description

Location: Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head

Experience: 14 Years

Qualification: Diploma / BE (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation) or Graduate with relevant experience

Role Objective

To support the field sales and business development team by handling lead management, customer coordination, quotation preparation, follow-ups, order tracking, and CRM updates, ensuring faster closures and smooth sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Customer Coordination

Handle inbound leads from Siemens, website, email, exhibitions, and referrals

Qualify leads and coordinate with sales engineers for technical discussions

Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and WhatsApp

Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and existing customers

2. Quotation & Proposal Support

Prepare techno-commercial quotations in coordination with:

Sales Engineers

Application / Engineering Team

Purchase & Accounts

Track quotation status and ensure timely follow-ups

Share revised offers as per customer feedback

3. Order Closure & Documentation

Support PO closure, LOI follow-up, and order confirmation

Coordinate internal approvals and documentation

Maintain complete sales records (Offer PO Invoice)

4. CRM & Sales Reporting

Update all leads, follow-ups, quotations, and orders in CRM (Zoho / Excel)

Prepare daily and weekly sales MIS reports

Track conversion ratios and pending opportunities

5. Coordination with Internal Teams

Coordinate with:

Engineering for technical inputs

Purchase for material availability

Accounts for invoicing and payment follow-ups

Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution team

6. Support Marketing & Business Development

Support exhibitions, seminars, and marketing campaigns

Database management and customer profiling

Assist in email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-up calls

Key Skills Required

Strong communication skills (English, Hindi; Marathi preferred)

Good email drafting and professional communication

Basic understanding of industrial products / automation preferred

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Email, CRM tools

Follow-up discipline and result-oriented mindset
