This Position reports to:

EL IS SRC Governance Lead


Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, based out of Bangalore, India or San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

This role is contributing to the EL IS Security, Risk, and Compliance (SRC) Team in a global capacity.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Utilizing understanding of customers needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
  • Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You enjoy working with cross-functional teams, coordinating projects, and supporting governance activities
  • Have established skills in data analysis, project coordination, and documentation management, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Highly adept communication and presentation skills
  • You are captivated by process improvement, organizational excellence, and building collaborative relationships with a diverse, global team
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Science and Technology, or similar with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • You are proficient at communicating in English (written and verbal)

Information Security, Risk, and Compliance (SRC) in Electrification is license to operate. We direct and monitor the implementation of SRC standards and policies. We provide SRC guidance to executive leadership, business teams, and IT teams within the organization by recommending SRC controls, which mitigate risks, strengthen defenses, and reduce vulnerabilities for development, internal, and client facing systems and products. We lead global coordination and oversight of business area and divisional SRC management processes and strategies.
