Job Role: Influencer & Content Strategist

Location: Gurgaon

We are a well-known brand with a well-established influencer programme that has been running successfully since a few years.

As we scale up, maintaining the consistency and quality of influencer-generated content has become a critical priority — directly tied to sales performance and brand equity.

We are looking for an Influencer Content Strategist who will act as the creative backbone of our influencer programme across regional markets.

This person will sit between our Influencer execution team and our influencer roster — co-creating ideas, curating briefs, reviewing content before it goes live, and constantly raising the creative bar to ensure every post, reel, or video drives measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Ideation & Creative Direction

• Co-create high-performing content ideas with influencers (not just approve scripts)
• Build platform-first concepts (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
• Ensure hooks, storytelling, and CTAs are optimized for conversions
• Translate brand messaging into native, relatable regional content

2. Influencer Collaboration

Work closely with influencers to:

• Refine scripts
• Improve delivery, tonality, and relatability
• Ensure brand alignment without killing authenticity

Act as a creative partner, not just a reviewer.

3. Performance-Driven Content Optimization

Analyze:

• CTR
• Watch time
• Conversion rates

Identify:

• What formats are working per language/region
• Which creators need content direction vs replacement

Continuously iterate content playbooks.

4. Content Playbook Creation

Build repeatable frameworks, such as:

• Winning hooks bank
• Viral format templates
• Category-specific storytelling angles

Create language-specific guidelines (Hindi vs South behaves differently).

5. Quality Control & Scale Management

• Review content before publishing
• Maintain quality benchmarks across growing influencer base
• Train and guide junior team members / coordinators

6. Regional Content Expertise

Adapt content ideas across:

• Hindi belt vs South India nuances

Ensure cultural relevance, slang accuracy, and emotional resonance.

Key Requirements

3–6 years in:

• Influencer marketing / content strategy / social media creative

Strong understanding of:

• Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts / performance creatives
• Ability to think in hooks, not just scripts

Behavioral Traits:

• Creative + analytical (rare but critical)
• Can push back on influencers when content is weak
• Obsessed with why this content will work
• Understands performance marketing, not just branding

Success Metrics:

Improvement in:

• Influencer ROAS
• Engagement rate
• Video completion rate

Reduction in:

• Poor-performing content %

Increase in:

• Repeatable winning formats
