Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kozhikode for an Infection Control Nurse. The primary responsibilities include implementing infection prevention measures, monitoring and reporting cases of infection, and educating staff on infection control practices. The role involves conducting regular assessments to ensure adherence to infection control standards, managing outbreak investigations, and assisting with policy development to improve patient safety and healthcare quality. The Infection Control Nurse will also collaborate with clinical teams to address infection-related concerns and provide mentorship to promote effective infection prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge in Infection Control and management of Infectious Diseases
- Registered Nurse certification with expertise in Nursing practices
- Understanding of Medicine related to infection diagnosis and treatment
- Ability to identify, assess, and manage Infection risks effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills to educate staff and collaborate effectively
- Experience in healthcare or hospital settings related to infection control is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications
