Role Description
This full-time, on-site role, based in Kozhikode, involves responsibilities as both an Infection Control Nurse and a Nursing Educator. The role includes implementing infection control protocols, monitoring and controlling infectious diseases within the healthcare setting, and training and educating nursing staff to improve healthcare delivery. The individual will work closely with medical teams to ensure quality care and adherence to safety standards, participate in audits and assessments, and stay updated on best practices in infection prevention and patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Infection Control and understanding of protocols for maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong experience in Nursing, including patient care and professional healthcare practices.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Infectious Diseases relevant to healthcare settings.
- Skill in identifying, evaluating, and managing Infection risks in hospital environments.
- Certification in infection control or nursing education is beneficial.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to educate and train staff effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related medical field; infection Control certification
