We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Industrial Engineer who thrives on innovation and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys optimizing processes, driving automation, and leveraging digital tools to enhance efficiency across manufacturing operations.
You will play a key role in improving productivity, ensuring process sustainability, and supporting new product and technology introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Sustainability & Operations
- Ensure adherence to established processes and maintain accurate documentation
- Design, maintain, and optimize plant layouts
- Manage calibration of measuring instruments and validate processes and fixtures
- Coordinate facility and building maintenance activities with relevant stakeholders
- Perform capacity planning, line balancing, and line design
- Support implementation of change management initiatives
- Maintain and update MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for production materials
- Continuous Improvement & Automation
- Support process planning for new product introductions and technology integration
- Drive automation and digitalization initiatives across processes and systems
- Coordinate equipment procurement and execution of automation/digital projects
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities (VAM initiatives)
- Generate and implement improvement ideas through structured programs (e.g., 3i)
- Facilitate Kaizen workshops and brainstorming sessions
- Introduce tools and techniques to improve efficiency and reduce assembly time.
- Compliance, EHS & Audits
- Lead energy-saving initiatives and support EnMS audits and documentation
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance documentation is up to date
- Drive EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives and ensure adherence to standards.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production Engineering (or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or automation roles.
- Basic understanding of automation, digitalization, and data analysis concepts.
- Exposure to tools such as IDEAs, AutoCAD, Power BI, PLCs, or similar systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
