Overview:
The IN Quality Engineer - SAP Automation will support testing and quality assurance activities for SAP automation initiatives within a public sector and international business environment. This role focuses on validating manufacturing execution system and shopfloor production processes, with an emphasis on Rockwell MES application testing. The position requires a strong understanding of manual and automated testing practices, particularly in regulated and high-compliance environments such as life sciences and manufacturing. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable system performance, defect prevention, and high-quality delivery of enterprise automation solutions. This is an individual contributor role suited for a quality-focused professional with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
We are looking for IN Quality Engineer - SAP Automation in the Public Sector & International Business sector:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for SAP automation and Rockwell MES-related applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing across manufacturing execution and shopfloor production workflows.
- Validate system functionality, integration points, and business process compliance against defined requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and support resolution of defects through the test lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.
- Support test planning, test data preparation, regression testing, and release readiness activities.
- Use test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM to manage test execution and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, automation coverage, and quality standards.
You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You:
- 5-6 years of experience in quality engineering, testing, or QA roles, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP automation or quality engineering for enterprise applications.
- Experience testing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably in shopfloor or production process environments.
- Exposure to Rockwell MES or similar automation systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with manual and automated testing approaches, including regression and integration testing.
- Knowledge of ALM or similar test management tools is an added advantage.
- Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industry environments is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
