About This Opportunity
BNEW RCE Lab Operations provides best-in-class lab infrastructure, networks and hardware (HW) services to the R&D organizations within Ericsson. Our standardized solutions and services enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy design and test environments. In our labs globally, we operate 50,000 square meters of labs and track 400,000 hardware assets.
We are now recruiting an ICT Asset Manager for our global HW Management (HWM) team. The main tasks are:
- Handle HW Transfer outside a legal entity for all asset and consumable transfers efficiently and effectively by following compliance, legal, and financial rules, as well as our own way of working.
- Be part of the global HW Management team.
Please note that this is not a managerial position. In BNEW RCE Lab Operations, we expect an office-first mindset regarding work location.
What You Will Do
- Own and execute global hardware transfer requests end-to-end, ensuring business alignment, urgency, and full compliance with legal, financial, and internal processes.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for Ericsson hardware assets, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely execution of all transfer activities.
- Has the ability to understand finance, customs and taxation instructions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with global and local stakeholders, including customs, finance, legal, logistics partners, tax, sourcing and HWM colleagues.
- Update the asset information accurately in our inventory tools such as HW database tool EquipMan and SAP after every relevant transfer.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying impediments, owning processes and documentation, and contributing to the evolution of global Lab Operations services.
- Demonstrate natural leadership by supporting, guiding, and influencing team members in a global environment.
- Handle local Life cycle management (LCM)/Asset management operations and activities.
You will bring
- A University degree and past experience working within a service organization.
- Strong communication skills in English, suitable for a global working environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems & tools and especially Microsoft Excel.
- Consistent record of achieving results.
- Everyday user of AI tools for official or personal tasks.
- Service mindset, transformation drive, self-driven, thrive on accountability, overcoming challenges with a collaborative can-do attitude, motivated to fulfill the expectations of customers/stakeholders.
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to improve ways of working.
- Natural leadership to drive a global team if necessary.
- Good understanding of financial flows, especially for HW procurement and life cycle management.
- Good to have trade, logistics, and product knowledge.
