The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate HVAC BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
BIM Modeling & Documentation
Develop detailed 3D HVAC models (chilled water, ducting, VRF, HVAC plant room.etc) using , Autodesk Revit in accordance with project BEP BIM Execution plan,
- Prepare LOD 300–500 HVAC models for design, construction, and as-built stages.
- Create HVAC layouts including ducting, piping, equipment, accessories, supports, and fittings.
- Generate Design.shop drawings, coordinated drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM model.
- Quantity take -offs -Extract material schedules and equipment lists ( BOQ ) from the model.
- Work Set Creation. Sheet Creation
- Creation of Auto CAD, IFC, NWC, & DWF. File from Revit.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM 360 / ACC is mandatory.
Coordination & Clash Detection
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting teams.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve clash comments within deadlines.
- Collaboration- co-ordination with project team. engineers, and site personnel to update models based on revisions.
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure models comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NBC, and project-specific standards.
- Maintain modeling consistency as per BIM standards, families, and templates.
- Follow quality control processes and internal BIM guidelines.
