Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Principal Interior Designer. The Principal Interior Designer will oversee end-to-end design projects, including conceptualizing interior spaces, developing and reviewing construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment). The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, ensuring functional and aesthetic excellence, and managing space planning and team coordination. Effective communication with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design, with a strong ability to conceptualize and create innovative design solutions
• Solid understanding of Architecture principles and experience in creating and reviewing Construction Drawings
• Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specifications
• Strong project management skills, including budget management and adherence to timelines
• Exceptional communication and client engagement skills to understand and deliver on client needs
• Ability to lead teams effectively and work in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent tools
• Experience in residential, hospitality, or commercial projects is a plus
