About the Role

We're looking for a HR Business Partner who goes beyond closing roles and truly partners with business leaders to build strong, scalable teams. This role will work closely with hiring managers to drive hiring strategy, improve quality of hires, and deliver a great candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders to understand team goals, challenges, and workforce needs
  • Translate business priorities into actionable people strategies
  • Act as a coach to managers on people decisions, team effectiveness, and leadership capability

Talent & Performance Management

  • Drive performance management cycles including goal setting, reviews, and development planning
  • Support managers in identifying high performers, successors, and critical talent
  • Work with TA and L&D teams on hiring plans, capability building, and career progression

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee relations cases with empathy, fairness, and business context
  • Drive engagement initiatives and action plans based on feedback and pulse surveys
  • Act as a neutral, trusted point of contact for employees and managers

Org Effectiveness & Culture

  • Support org design, role clarity, and team structuring as the business scales
  • Drive culture initiatives aligned to company values
  • Support change management during org or policy transitions

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes
  • Partner with HR Ops on payroll, compliance, and policy implementation
  • Use data and insights to highlight trends in attrition, performance, and engagement

What We're Looking For

  • 68 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or generalist roles
  • Strong experience partnering with business leaders, especially sales or frontline teams
  • Hands-on experience with performance management, employee relations, and engagement
  • Ability to balance empathy with business outcomes
  • Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in startups, travel, e-commerce, or consumer-facing businesses
  • Exposure to scaling teams or high-growth environments
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and change
